Abbie Gittinger
My name is Abbie Gittinger and
I am majoring in Spanish and Psychology. I am also pursuing a minor in criminal
justice and a minor in nonprofit leadership. I will be studying abroad in
Cusco, Peru in the spring semester of 2014. I can't wait to visit Machu Picchu
and see the Amazon!! In my free time, I enjoy traveling, photography,
music, and reading.
Allie Krumel
I’m double
majoring in Business Communications and Spanish, and minoring in Nonprofit
Leadership Studies. I’m from Des Moines Iowa, aka the happiest place in the
world, and I have two younger sisters and a big fat yellow lab. I love
attending Rockhurst, and next year I’m so excited to study at Semester at Sea!
After graduation, I’d love to work in Journalism or in the nonprofit sector,
but for now I’m perfectly content flying through life by the seat of my pants.
I am a sophomore at Rockhurst University, majoring in
communications and minoring in psychology.
In addition to my classes, I am involved in Theta Phi Alpha as a general
member on the philanthropy committee and APO as the new member educator. As of now, I am unsure as to what exactly I
would like to do with my life, but I am keeping my options open as I experience
different things and discover what I think is most fulfilling and interesting
to me.
Lauren Pennell
I am a sophomore at Rockhurst University and I am
majoring in mass communications and English writing, minoring in English
literature and journalism. I am very
involved on campus; I am a part of the honors program, dance team, APO (the
service fraternity), Theta Phi Alpha, social mentors, and CLC. My participation in these organizations
allows me to provide an inside view on issues, events, and people here on
campus. In the future, I would like to
work as an editor at a publishing company, although my dream is to be a
novelist and own my own bookstore.
